Should I buy an Iphone 5 running IOS 6 ?

Those were the days - when the Calendar App actually had both character and function - instead of the current dimensionless version.
The phone is great. Looks great in its stealth black and all. However you're gonna be at great risks with not being on newer updates. Also you won't be able to download newer apps that require iOS 7 or newer.
Other then That the phone is wonderful. Can I ask why not an iPhone SE in space grey?
I have been looking for a slate iP5 on iOS 6 for a while. Would love to get one w/out paying out the wazoo for it. I'm a collector (not on a serious scale, just want every iPhone to display and play around with). I loved the slate color of the iP5 and the way it would wear with use was a bit artistic in itself.
I'd get one for the nostalgia. At this point there are too many additional features and security updates that would have me using this as my daily driver. That said, I am unsure security is much of a concern unless you lose the phone anyway.
It's going to be very hard to find one, at least an affordable one. But I say if you can find one go for it! I've been looking for one for ages and couldn't find it.
Speaking about those security holes - Apple lets them in all the time

For what it's worth, if you ever tire of iOS 6, the iPhone 5 runs iOS 9 wonderfully.
Haha, that's why I want one too. I do have an iPod Touch 4th Gen on iOS 6.1.3 that I occasionally pull out and play with just for nostalgia's sake
If you look on eBay, they run from 800-1000. Too pricey for my liking, but if you have the money and really want it, I guess it's okay.

I would never buy a new 5 at this point...too much money for a 4 year tech device.
But what's a reasonable price for a used one?
Seems like there's a simple answer: you should buy it, if you want to buy it.
