Unless you like sending MMS!

Does anyone still send MMS? I remember when it was first released and a few people at my college would use it, then the novelty wore off and resorted back to SMS. And now there's email on phones.
Needless feature?

Not everyone has email on their phone.

MMS is good for sending contacts to people too - especially since the iPhone doesn't have copy and paste yet ;)

BUY it if you want it! Its that simple. Something newer and better is always on its way out so realistically you could wait forever.
If you want it then go for it. You will be happy regardless

I think my wife and I are going to finally go for getting iPhones. I'm waiting until Macworld 2009 only to see if the price will drop at all or if the storage will get bumped up to 32GB. If nothing happens at Macworld, I'm going to buy it.

I second this. It's what I am going to do even though I would like one now but don't need it.

I am REALLY hoping they don't. I just bought an iPhone 3G in the first week of October. And it wouldn't be completely abnormal if they do. Apple has a tendency to do things like that. I just think they are going to announce iPhone Software Update 3 which will include some of the biggest software problems (MMS, Landscape keyboard for texting and email, etc.)
