Should i Buy ipod touch 32gb in this july?

    Should i Buy ipod touch 32gb in this july?
    pls help...
    and theres 64gb early?
    im confused by this rumors....

    Actually, you won't see something with 64G flash memorybefore the end of 2008 (expect the 64G SSD). I doubt Apple will have the ipod touch droping to 8G 199$, 16G 299$, 32G 399$ for those who don't want a contract with a&T regard the back to school program at september, we will see

    and will apple install the 2.0 firmware to ipod touch in this july?

    they probally wont have them on the new ipods in a few weeks so id wait till mid august just to be safe and if i rember if you bought a ipod the day or around the week of you should contact apple and tell them u got a new ipod and they will credit you for the new firmware besides 10 bucks isnt that much too :)

    why ipod touch wont upgrade to 64gb?

    It's simply not economical - the 32GB sticks (Apple puts two memory sticks into the Touch) are quite expensive.

    64gb memory alone is still in the $400-$500+ range.

    So with markup, other components, etc. you would be look well up into the $750-$1000 range which would be uneconomical and Apple probably would never release anything like that.

    (Who would pay that much for an iPod? You can buy a whole laptop for that much!)
