Should i buy or should i wait? MacBook Pro

I am currently in the market looking to buy a MacBook Pro.

I know your probably going to point me towards the buyers guide.. but anyway.

I have two options, either wait till next year and use an loan computer till then or buy before the end of the year.

But the thing is that i need it before the start of February (no matter what).. so i was wondering since if i go out today and buy one and a new one comes out very quickly it will be very painful should i buy or should i wait?

If you're even thinking about a loaner, then your answer is simple: get it soon. By soon, I mean ASAP o/c.

Seriously, you don't want to deal with long lines or backorder eating up stock during Christmas time. The odds are pretty choppy at the moment for MacWorld 08, so don't bank on it. If you need it, go out and get it.
