well after unplugging and plugging back in my old monitor, i got all the windows and stuff on it. now i just have to take back the Gateway....

I have this monitor, and it works beautifully.

It only has one problem: It is too bright, so I have to use a third-party app to turn down the brightness, since the Mac OS does not have a way to adjust brightness for external displays.
 
Is 2" worth the extra $300.. Gateway has a sick 22" that is a beauty for 299 on sale at compusa... all black.. very nice.
:D Mine. I love it, totally worth the $400 I paid when it wasn't
on sale. Even has four port usb 2.0 hub... component, VGA, S-video, DVI-D with HDCP... 1680 X 1050 res... it's mackin'!;)

Mac OS : system preferences - displays - color - calibrate... ;)

well it worked for about 1 day, and now no power or lights or anything. and i agree that it's too bright.
