Should I buy this plasma Samsung tomorrow?

It's a 720p Samsung Plasma. I'm a little worried about Burn-Ins because I'll be using the TV as a monitor also...but i can just put on a screensaver. I'll be using it for mainly video games and HD movies. I don't watch television.

No. 720p is a low res for a 42''.

You could get a 42'' Samsung 1080p LCD for like the same price if you look around a little bit.

If your gonna do the 42" + TVs right then look for 1080p ....


The biggest tv for 720p should be 32" ..

If for monitor use, yes. If for just TV use, I'm sure you've seen that there is HIGHLY decreased benefit from 1080p on 42" televisions at normal viewing distances. yourself.
