There seems to be an increasing backlash against Meta Ray-Bans and similar glasses.
I have had a pair for a number of years. Initially I bought them because I’m a tech early-adopter and they look cool and I thought they might be a convenient way to take photos.
They are not. The camera is poor quality, only 1x, is off-centre, and usually finds the lid of my baseball cap.
I’ve kept them because the speakers in the arms are pretty good for listening to podcasts.
Though mostly I don’t even turn them on any more.
Now I’m wondering if I should get rid of them. I don’t want to get harassed or accused of something.
