Should I do clean install by upgrading to mavericks from Mountain Lion?

    I dunno if it'll run smoothly but I just did a clean install and restored from my Machine backup.

    A clean install and an upgrade are two different processes. Unless your system is having troubles, upgrading should be sufficient.

    I upgraded without doing anything and all is running nice and smooth

    I just installed Mavericks on top of Mountain Lion and everything is running smoothly.

    upgraded and everything is fine.
    apple knows what they're doing on the most part. no need to be a paranoid nerd.

    I also upgraded, everything runs fine. I have no errors and all software runs perfectly smooth. I dont see the point of doing a clean install with mavericks.

    upgrading on a 2.7 i5 and it is running great
