I’m new to this find my iPhone app. If I will be traveling, would it be a better idea to enable find my iPhone? How does it work? Also is it safe? I’m asking because I see a message that says “turn on send last location.”

I see a message that says “turn on send last location.” Do I allow? and who are the people that’s showing on the avatar on that app? I’m confused.

Always have on if you value lost or stolen iPhone.

I dont see any downside of enabling it, not to mention iPhones typically costs a lot.
If you are concerned about your personal safety and whatnot. Trust me, when the phone is lost/stolen, you want to know that last known location. Criminals ain’t gonna use an expensive iPhone to stalk you. AirTags suit that purpose better.

Recommend having it turned on - should you happen to misplace it/have it stolen then you can track it online.

Also recommend enabling a PIN for your SIM card/eSIM as they can still use that if your phone was stolen until you reported it as lost/stolen to your mobile co.
