I've been an iP4 owner for a little while now. I heard that there is a 30 day return policy regardless of minutes used on the phone (I know usually it's 30 minutes or 30 days).

I was wondering since I'd like to take a lot of pictures and maybe record some video (not a lot I suppose) should I swap out for the 32GB before my 30 days comes up?

The extra $100 is kinda keeping me from doing it.

I did it and so far it hasn't made a difference but it's only the first month of a 24 month period

Called my Apple store in Canada and they told me I can't return it because it was a hardware upgrade and Rogers says it has to have less then 15 minutes of call time (which it doesn't because Apple made me call Rogers from the iPhone4 to make sure it worked and it took over 30 minutes to reach a rep.)

You CAN return it and buy a new iPhone 32GB within 30 days. You may lose your number.

I've been totally content with a 16GB. Up until the 4, I've always opted for the biggest hard drive space, but I'm all about streaming now and was happy to save $100. Between Pandora, Slacker, Rdio, Stitcher, Hulu, and soon Netflix, there is tons of content out there to stream.

And if you do return it, it will actually be $120+tax to get the 32. I doubt they will waive the restocking fee for that scenario.

Would they honestly have to expire my contract? I mean I thought it'd just be as simple as adding an extra 100$ to my CC, no?

Will they still give you the new contract user price of the 32GB ($299)?

And can I do a downgrade exchange/return from 32GB to 16GB..?
