I have a 1st gen. iPod touch with 1.1.4 on it.
If I look at the screen the right way, it is like it is flickering.
I have restored many times, and it still freezes almost daily. I really want the new iPod touch, but keep in mind That is NOT the reason I would want to exchange.
my question is, Based on the problems my iPod is having, what do you think the genius would do?
:)

If it's still covered within the warranty, i'd exchange it.

Thanks, But I'm afraid I will go to the genius and he won't catch it freezing, or not recognize the screen issue.
for the record, it was purchased in june, so yeah its covered, but I don't have any reciept

Ughh... i hate random malfunction. I think they'll still consider you because every ipod has a serial #. not so sure about this though, you might wanna call the applecare.

Well she said CALL applecare... not anything about driving... but hey, guess you know know how to "search" the apple store for support and the number for it either... good luck
