Thats wrong.

Anyone who thinks they're going to be color calibrating on a TN display is going to in for a rude surprise regardless of whether the screen is matte or glossy. I say go for your preference on the display on the notebook because any serious professional color work should be done on either an external IPS monitor or an NTSC TV(depending on your work). Even then color calibrating for video can only take you so far because the client will likely be watching your content on a completely different screen. For print, you shouldn't be looking at your laptop display either but that's a whole other story.

I think this guy posted 5 different threads asking the same thing. If that is the case, my advice would be:

Get a Mac Pro with every option and 12 cores w/ 64GB of RAM and four 500GB SSDs. Considering that this will cost more than most people's cars, you might deck the place out as well, so get a nice screen to match it like dual Sharp Aquos' 50 inch LCD's, a customized desk solution made from ivory, some Bowers and Wilkins speakers w/ a Krell Amp, mood lighting, a high-def Runco projector, theater seats, soundproofing, a customized nitrogen cooling system, a couple of rack servers, and a flux capacitor.

And hell, since you can store all the porn you want, you might as well add what you need to stay their for extended periods, so bombproof the room, add protection from radioactive fallout and biological attacks, store a few years of MRE's and water, biohazard suits, water and air purifiers, a rubber ducky, and a few cartons of Reds.

Now you have no reason to leave, ever.

Oh yeah, and get a Magic 8 Ball so you can then decide whether you will get a 2011 or 2010 MacBook Pro.
