When I started getting my own electronics, they were Apple products, so when I decided to get a phone (I was the only one living at my house without one) I got and iPhone. Go for it. Especially if you are using your own money to buy one. 🙂

I actually want to switch back again.. i had a iPhone 6 like 3 years ago.. but the price of a xs 64GB with a case is like 1200 euro’s.. the price is holding me back. And when i use my iPad i get reminded how smooth and beautiful iOS really is.

Well, it sounds like you need to factor in the pricing into wanting/needing it -- if you can afford it, then it sounds like you can go for it.

Same. If I could take my iPad with me everywhere, I would. But just as you said, iTunes/Apple music obviously resorts me to my iPhone, and of course for Apple CarPlay in the car.

Just get yourself a affordable iPhone X or something, and keep it the next 2-3 or even 4 years. so late in the iPhone tech cycle, you dont need a new Phone every year anyway.

You can find used X for 600€. Or new XS for 950€ from retailers

If you already have an iPad and you also use Samsung S9+ as your primary device then I do not think that it is worth to buy an iPhone.
