In a bit of a situation.

I was having some sticky keyboard issues on my Macbook Pro, and Apple offered to replace the top case for free (I have Apple Care+). They ordered a replacement part and I'm waiting.

But now a couple days after seeing them the keyboard seems OK just worn out, wondering if I should still get the top case replacement (as the other parts of the Mac are fine and I wouldn't want something to get damaged during repair)

Hardware failures generally don't repair themselves, and if you're already in the process of getting the repair scheduled by apple (and an authorized agent), then do it
