should i get my 3gs swapped for weak wifi?

ive had 3gs since launch and everythings worked fine although i think the battery isnt holding a charge like it used to and wifi is really flakey. even in the same room, wifi on my router can drop to 2 bars (from full of 3) and at my friends place, feet from his router i get one bar.

it's kind of messed up... on latest firmware too. watcha think?
