Should i get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2? Will it be a good upgrade?

I think i might get the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 instead of the upcoming Ipad Air 3.

The New Galaxy Tab S2 is a very powerful Android tablet even better than the Nexus 9 plus it has a 9.7 4:3 aspect ratio display and I like Android but i would like to try IOS on the Ipad as i have only used IOS on my Ipod touch and the Ipad has better tablet apps.

Checked the Samsung website and for some reason there is no Tab S2 web page on there website hmmm wierd.....

Better than the nexus 9? Not in all aspects.

The professor in the s2 is weaker than the Tegra in the nexus 9 and the A8X in the iPad Air 2.

Just go with what you want, you'll be most happy that way. Don't worry about what others think.

Personally, i'd go with Galaxy Tab S2 since it's superior to both Nexus 9 and iPad Air 2/3 in hardware, OS capabilities and real world performance and not useless synthetic benchmarks. Also, the closest to PC replacement.

Yes i know that the Tab S2 will have 4:3 ratio.

But it is still Android and will pretty much be the same experience as i get with my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and i don't really want that...

So that means when i buy a Ipad(Air 3 this fall) it is going to be a COMPLETE different(and better) experience.


Only 4 months to go, Can't wait!!!!

Define "better".. tablets are for consumption only.. the S range has the best screen by a country mile, scientifically proven.. why look at anything through an Inferior display. . And 4-3 Is pants for videos and pictures. . The original tab S is now the IMHO opinion the go to tablet, the tab S2 ruined it with that God awful ratio. .

Well, the 32gb 9.7" Tab S2 is on sale at Amazon for $339 for Cyber Monday.

I just picked one up to see if I like it. TBH, I've gotten quite used to the Android OS with my OnePlus 2 and like some of the features. My iPhone will always be my primary but as a larger tablet, this is a steal for what I use it for.

Got the Ipad Air 2/64GB/Silver 2 months ago, it is awesome, has way better tablet apps and better battery life and that 9.7 inch with 4:3 aspect ratio is the PERFECT size for me and with that 4:3 ratio is better for things like web browsing, playing games and content creation and lots more way better than the 16:9/16:10 ratio for tablets!!

I have definitely made the right decision getting the Air 2 over the Tab S2 9.7!!

May be for you the 4:3 ratio ruined the Tab S2 but in my opinion personally Samsung have definitely made the right decision to go to 4:3 ratio from 16:9/16:10 just because the 4:3 is soo much better at things like web browsing, playing games, reading, content creation etc and the 16:9/16:10 is only good for videos and not much else and when you are past 10 inches with 16:9/16:10 on a tablet and it is to wide and it's unnatural to use in portrait mode which it is too narrow to use!!

Overall the 4:3 ratio is way way better and way more versatile on tablets then the wide sceen only movie/video friendly 16:9/16/10 ratio!!

Anyway that is my opinion!
