I am planning on getting the 4s for christmas, waiting because my wife and I are poor college students. I ask because I have a white ceramic wedding ring and a white silicone watch. I really would prefer the white, but would it be too much white explosion?

I would never have guessed that so many grown men would care so much about what other people think. To make matters worse, instead of making a decision on their own, they ask random people on the Internet what they should do.
Very very happy with my white.
A note to people who are still deciding....The white border around the screen, even on black is very prone to scratching and chipping. Be careful when taking cases off/on. Mine was a tiny bit chipped out of box, and the genius chipped the side taking my case off.
But say you get your phone, it has no yellow screen. wiggly home button, etc, and it has a small chip, do not replace it.
The risk of getting another problem is a lot higher.

Why is that so hard to understand? People ask these questions to get opinions. It makes them feel better about their purchase.
What I never understand is the people that post replies like yours in every one of these types of threads.
Well it's obviously not just me that thinks it's silly for people to ask strangers about how to spend $200+ dollars. Do YOU come on forums and ask? No one I know does. IF you need to come to a forum filled with people you don't know to feel better about a purchase then maybe the purchase shouldn't be made.
It is hard to understand because there are already tons of threads with the information the OP is looking for.
OP, do a search and read through all the comments about both phones. Also I suggest going to the store and looking at both colors.
