Get what you want and don't let others decide for you.
Exactly.
Get what you want and don't let others decide for you.
Steve Jobs. said:THIS IS WHY PEOPLE USUALLY ASK AS WHICH COLOR TO GET:
It's because they want to know if there are advantages/disadvantages to getting either color. They want to know from people who already own a certain color if it has affected the usability of the device in any way.
This is not the case for this thread but it is for many of them that are similar and the premise is totally valid.
For some people the white of the phone is distracting from content displayed on the screen. They also may not consider that when the phone is turned off, the screen is completely black, thus contrasting with the white and looks a bit weird to some people.
It's little things like that you may not know if you don't ask around.
What's your favorite color?.
...I have a white ceramic wedding ring and a white silicone watch. I really would prefer the white...
White is for girls and ______ guys
I really would prefer white..
Go with what you prefer. If you seriously can't decide then flip a coin. Or, as suggested in this thread, read the countless identical threads that already exist on the topic.I am planning on getting the 4s for christmas, waiting because my wife and I are poor college students. I ask because I have a white ceramic wedding ring and a white silicone watch. I really would prefer the white, but would it be too much white explosion?
None of those were in the OP. Don't put words in his mouth. His question as started was purely aesthetic. Read the OP again:THIS IS WHY PEOPLE USUALLY ASK AS WHICH COLOR TO GET
I really would prefer the white, but would it be too much white explosion?
Since I made this decision recently, I'll share my thought process.
The white looks really nice. It's pretty unique, and I immediately think "iPhone 4" or "iPhone 4s" when I see someone pull it out. However, it stands out quite a bit and seems a bit flashy. I honestly can't remember seeing a black iPhone 4 (or 4s), even though one of the guys I work with has one. It's more discreet.
Because I plan to use the phone mostly for business-related things and theft is a concern, my wife and I chose black. If I didn't mind drawing more attention to the phone, I would have chosen white.
Those are my preferences and thoughts. If you have a white theme going on for your wedding accessories then a white iPhone might also be nice, but a phone doesn't have the same permanence that a ring has (or a watch can have), so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
White ceramic wedding ring? WTF!?
x2. If you prefer white, then get white. Otherwise you'll want it sooner or later. You said it yourself. Get white.
