Depends on the managers, they are not suppose to apply fan accounts in retail stores so it depends if the manager will take it off and reapply it again.

I guess I don't understand why he would have to reapply it? Aren't we transferring "ownership" of the account? Chances are the new account holder would not be entitled to the same FAN discount, right?
I have had the unlimited plan since I bought my first iPhone and have never gone over 2GB.
Unfortunately the unlimited plans will not last forever...AT&T will find a loophole to terminate it.
AT&T will eventually use the argument that the unlimited plan is for 3G ONLY and when 4G becomes all the rage, the unlimited plans will all end...

Why would they need a loophole? At any time, they could simply stop offering it as the contracts run out. Heck, just continuing to aggressively throttle will force most people out of it.
