    Hi all,
What to do with the lousy connection on the Magic Mouse? I have tried all this: http://macs.about.com/od/tipstricks/qt/Fix-Magic-Mouse-Disconnects.htm

Mine is 3 years old and I have tried to use a pad instead, but it doesn't work that well for me.

Has the design been changed by apple since I bought it? Is it less faulty now, or what is the verdict?

If you can get yours working reliably the obvious answer for you is "yes".

The wife and I have no problems with our mice.

The electronics in mine have been fine, paired with my Mac mini 2012 I've had no problems.

However, clearly the manufacturing in China isn't the best, I'm on my third because the first two didn't sit flush on my desk. This one seems to be great, so it's a keeper.

I'm pretty fussy with my Apple products, you pay a premium for them, so I hammer the applecare support to get an exchange or whatever it takes, then after that I've never had a single failure out of warranty, touch wood, with any of my Apple products.
