Should I go to the apple store?

    So today was the second time this happened, but basically the screen on my pro mid 2010 will randomly go off, but the computer will stay on, judging by the fans still going. Any idea what could cause this? It never happened once while on SL....

    Should also be noted that to get the screen back on I have to do a forced shut down.

    taking it to the store is really your best option, yeah...

    I have rarely had a positive experience with the so called, "Genius bar". I have been much happier calling Apple Care and explaining my issue. They will overnight a box that you put the computer in and call for a pick up so the Service Center can go over it. Odds are, they will fix it and have it returned to you within days. My local Apple Store needed ten days to replace a hard drive, who knew it would be so difficult.
