I swear I just updated OSX server a few weeks ago, but read that Mojave is incompatible with OSX server.

I have a mac mini running OSX server, should/can I install Mojave on it?

Is there any issues installing Mojave on all my macs but the mac mini running osx server?

Be very careful before upgrading to Mojave if you are an OS X Server user!

First, the good news. Apple has made file service, time machine server and the caching server standard across all Macs in Mojave and you can turn them on in the "Sharing" system preference. And if you use Xsan, Profile Manager or Open Directory, OS X Server in Mojave will continue to do that.

But EVERYTHING else OS X Server used to do is being terminated. That includes DHCP, DNS, Mail, Calendar, VPN, Contact Server, Web...basically everything is gone. So if you depend on any of these functions, DO NOT upgrade your OS X Server machine to Mojave until you implement alternatives.

It's really disappointing since part of the reason I used OS X Server in the first place was that it was a big time saver to implement some things that traditionally were a real bear to get working correctly, like DNS. But Apple told us this was going to happen six months ago so it's not like we haven't been told.
