Hi guys, I've recently bought an iPad mini 2 16GB WIFI off the apple refurbished store for about $258 USD.

I've dropped it last week and there's a dent at its top right corner. It's kinda affecting me.. It was a freak accident

I'm thinking if I should purchase AppleCare+ for this iPad or just live with it? Because the AppleCare+ plan costs about $102 USD and one replacement costs $50 USD. That's more than half of the price of another refurbished mini 2.

I'm staying in Singapore so I'm converting the prices and costs from SGD to USD.

They will inspect at store and deny purchase most likely.

I bought miniR cellar and bought apple care week later.

"(v) The Plan does not apply to cosmetic damage to the Covered Equipment, including but not limited to scratches and dents that do not otherwise affect the functionality of the Covered Equipment."

"(viii) The Plan does not apply to a pre-existing condition on any Covered Equipment if you purchased the Plan after you purchased the Covered Equipment."

From the terms and conditions of AppleCare+ that apply within Singapore.
