I have no clue what your second paragraph meant lol

The important thing is that you are showing a 1.6% change (even by the exaggerated trend line). That is almost certainly within normal variance of measurement, even now my capacity varies by about 1% after 800 cycles.

How do you keep your battery healthy?

Nothing special as I think I just have a good battery.

But I don't plug the computer until it's about the cut off and I don't keep anything open in the background unless I'm using it. Thats pretty much it

Best tip for healthy battery

Use it.

Don't keep your PORTABLE computer plugged in all the time it is not iMac. Exercise it. I always unplug when it is full. I try to charge it when battery is about 30%. That's it.

My battery health is always >100%.

Tested with Macbook Air (11" and 13") and Macbook Retina 13" throughout 3 years of use.

How come on a brand new rMBP???

My logic says, any brand new Mac laptop should come with a cycle count of "0" (zero).

Well a guy that I know (and trust for his words) purchased a rMBP recently (from the Online Applestore), and when he unpacked the laptop (all packing seemed to be as usual, no funny signs, etc.) he found out the cycle count read "3" (three) when he first started checking the Mac after powering it...

Any reasonable explanations for this issue?
