I still have my old iPhone 6S. Resale prices don’t seem to be that robust. I like the gold design. Should I just keep it and make it into a iPad Touch for working out and whatnot? Also, how much is a new battery for the IPhone 6S? Can Apple just put a new battery in at the store or does it have to be sent in.

Cheapest I’ve seen on amazon is $12. Usually around 20. Don’t take it to the Apple store, it’s easy enough to do it yourself. You’d be paying a lot more doing it at the Apple store. Save that money. I changed my own battery myself and it feels as good as new.

I’d probably sell it, but if you want to keep it it is always good to have a backup phone.

How many GB is it? If it’s 64GB and up I would keep it. It will always be a good iTunes Player or GPS navigation system provided you can keep it constantly connected to a Wi-Fi connection.

It is! I didn’t even know about this - thanks a lot

I got my 6s battery replaced under this program and the 6s works as good as it did the day I bought it, albeit a different iOS version. I've kept it on 10.3.3 for the time being. I handed mine down to a family member in need of a newer iPhone.

My store did not have the battery in stock at the time and had tot order it, so there were 2 appointments. One to validate I qualified and order the part, one to replace the battery.

I sold a 64gb 6s for $ 375.00 it was in great condition. It also had a battery replaced under Apple’s battery program. That was the price I usually sell one for after two years. So I did not see any drop in resale, I guess it depends on your area.
