    Hey all,

    here's the scoop:
my agi (?) graphics G4 was running fine. got a 256 ram card from a friend's old G4 that was working at last check. put it in mine, it started displaying an error message where a dimming curtain comes down on the screen and it tells me to re-boot cause ox quit unexpectedly. did that a couple times, worked fine, was going to put my old ram card back but was super busy... did it again now it won't start back up. just get the screen like it's going to with the apple and the little time wheel but nothing happens. have tried removing new ram, replacing old, unplugging, etc, nothing changes.

    here's my dilemma and question:

of course i have a portfolio on my drive that i NEED to print tomorrow.
    thank you murphy's law.
i have another identical G4 i'm on now that i've kept around for some reason.

did i fry my motherboard? and if so, what would be best, moving my hard drive to this machine or moving this motherboard to my non-working machine?

and how do i do these things?

if someone could help me i will be eternally grateful. i'm in a bit of a pickle.

    thank you.
