iPad Pro Should I take this deal?

Apple has Back To School deals and one is especially appealing.
I can get the 256GB iPad Pro 2020 for 999 with free AirPods.
*I also am offered $500 by Apple to trade in my iPad Pro 3.

I do want more RAM and such... but I’m questioning if 6GB RAM is worth all the work and hassle of trading in my iPad Pro.
I want 6GB just cause it’s newer and so I’m torn between keeping my 4GB iPad Pro 12.9” to get a deal (it seams like a good deal)

Without trade-in I pay $1,050... or I do trade-in and get the new 256GB iPad Pro for $550 + AirPods Pro Pro.
Is that a worth the whole screen return exchange time or display lottery stress? ?‍♂️?

While we all want more ram, 500 Euro is a lot for a bit of extra ram and some AirPods. Not sure I’d be interested.

Wow, I am pretty shocked at how many apps the 2018 iPad Pro dropped ? the extra 2GB RAM really made a difference in the 2020 iPad Pro.
