Someone offered to trade me a base 13 inch 2010 Air for my base model 2010 21 inch iMac . Does seem like a worthy trade?
 
Depends on your needs. If you want portability then yes but if you need processing power then no.

I suggest you keep your iMac and get a refurb Air so you can have best of both worlds.
