Should I upgrade to Vega 48?

I am looking to purchase a new mac of editing. I want to know how much of an upgrade is it from the 580x to the Vega 48? I do a ton of video editing for work, but most if it is 1080 and not 4k.

I plan to upgrade to the i9 and SSD. Trying to save money where I can...

You don't know the price? $450 is clearly displayed on the buy page for the only version of the i5/i9 for which it's an option.

To be honest I think with how much of an upgrade he refers to performance not price. He never mentions price but he does say the type of work he would be doing.

As for the OP, I can't help you as I don't realise those task, but most site make it roughly a 20-30% upgrade
