Should i wait for a new MacPro?

Embracing Blu-Ray would slow the adoption of Apple TV and give money to Sony. Judging by the Macbook Air, they're pushing towards digital downloads, not physical media.

They'll never come out and say it, but signs point to 'no way'.

For consumers yes/kinda, but there are going to be professionals that will need to burn to blu-ray once HD adoption starts really picking up pace.

As I said in a post a while back, if Apple makes such a stupid move to not support blu-ray, then I would have to turn to windows...on my mac pro.

Nehalem will be released at the end of this year or early next year. Not sure if it's worth waiting for, but they will be much faster machines.
