As of 11/15/2003, ogatasan, has decided to stick with the PB order. So, instead of having this thread revert back to Square1, it would be helpful if others could now comment on this:

Sorry if I inadvertently used bad language, but I was referring to the technical issue with trhe 15" PBs... Hmm, this is kind of amusing and odd, I'm not sure whether to scratch my head or laugh out loud...

No, not every 'Book to come off the assembly line has or will develope white spots. It's just that many do-many, as in Apple stopped shipping them for a few weeks to 'try' to get a handle on the situation. If you are lucky and have a defect-free mass-produced product, then you should feel very lucky.
