Should I wait next year to buy the iPhone?

I currently have a iPhone 6s and was wondering if you guys think it'll be worth upgrading to the iPhone 8/X or wait till next year when I think all of the models in the lineup will have the same design as the 8/X? They are going to be releasing a 7S which looks similar to the 6 series and a 8/X this year according to the latest rumors.

If you can wait till next year then mind as well hold off for the one after that.
The iPhone 9 coming out in 2019 will be better than the iPhone 8S!

How can anyone answer this when none of us actually know what this year's phone will offer?

Decide in September when the phone is actually revealed. It's not like you can purchase it before then anyway.

As others have stated, there is no way of telling specifically, because nothing has been verified by Apple. Your best bet is to hold off until September until any rumors are proven accurate.

It's safe to say that "new bigger and better" is always right around the corner. If your current phone works, hold out. If you can't live without latest and greatest then no day like today to upgrade As mentioned above no rumors have proved to be true or false so no one can really say the next generation iPhone will or won't be worth the upgrade.

For me this is the super cycle. The one to get. Go and splash out on the X now. I guarantee you will love it. When they upgrade next year it will 100% be an ‘s’ version where they add a few extra colour and some minor extra features.

This way you got the latest and greatest and get the use out of it for an extra year.

The X is the nicest phone on earth bar none.
