Is it possible for MacByte articles to show the original link (or at least, the site name)? Currently it's hidden, the only way to determine the site being linked to.. is by clicking it.

There are several reasons why you'd want to know the site
    - you may already have read the original article, don't want to read it again.
    - you may not be interested in articles from a given site.
    - you may be worried about security/malware risks; not good practice clicking to sites with no idea which site it is.

I always check the status bar in the browser to see where the link goes when I hover over it. That's the easiest remedy. You can turn on the Status Bar from the View menu.

Which just shows something like this
    Code:
    http://www.macbytes.com/link.php?sid=20090913134752
    which redirects to (For example)
    Code:
    http://www.maclife.com/article/feature/the_complete_itunes_history

Macbytes.com itself has the original domains listed next to the links. I like that.

I don't like that the forum links don't show them.

Ah, I wasn't aware of Macbytes.com, thanks. How that's done is ideal.

    Pity about the forum links.
