Seriously, I don't see how a small strap hole on the side corner would make the iPhone any less attractive. It's not like you have to keep the strap in. The choice to included one would be nice.

I put a strap on my candyshell by looping it through the speaker & dock connector holes. I only needed/wanted it when I go on trips that I take alot of photographs, however.
I would not buy an iPhone with a strap, its like glasses that hang from your neck, there simply not as fashionable as glasses with no neck strap
Your speaking as if I'm talking about a permanent strap. That's why I stated strap hole so anyone has the option to have a strap on it or not.
If Apple ever gave an option it would be an accessory much like a case that has a wrist strap hole...Kinda reminds me of that pic posted up earlier on in this thread

Interesting idea and I could see the advantage when you're, let's say, on vacation and taking pictures a lot. Otherwise, the phone's in my pocket.
Like others, though, I would get a bumper case with the strap for those occasions.
I think that this would be a step backwards, what we need, is to keep on moving into the future man.

I wish my iphone has a place for a stap.
It'd be nice if my iphone allows for a strap. I like the sleek look and wouldn't like to buy any cases for it, just a strap. when I'm taking photos and I'm near water (which is very often) I always wish there was a strap. When I'm snowboarding and taking out my phone while on the lift or taking photos going down I wish I had a strap like most phones and cameras have.

A hole in my pretty iPhone would not look good at all. I know apple will never do it.
If Apple put a strap hole into the iPhone, watch its sales in Japan skyrocket to an unimaginable level.
But yeah, I don't think Apple/Jobs would want this on the iPhone. Personally, I don't really care. Other manufactures like Nokia have embedded strap holes on their phones for ages without much compromise on the body itself physically nor visually, so it's doable. But I think the iPhone has generated a similar trend, not in straps, but in cases. There are a gajillion iPhone cases/skins on the market to personalize anybody's iPhones. Not exactly the same thing, but may be considered a similar train of thought.
