Should the trackpad button be flush with the MBP surface

Hi,

My trackpad button sits about 1mm above the metal surface of the MBP. When I click it, it sits flush with the surrounding surface. Is this the way it issupossed to be? the edge of the button is quite sharp.

Yes, but it's hard to see your blood on the black. So it's not as good for that purpose.

I believe that is the way its always been with mine since i started buying the G3's probably longer. BTW somebody has buyers remorse or is having trouble removing sand from her nether regions.
