As a new release of Mac OS draws near the inevitable question arises:

"Should I install the public beta on my one and only Mac?"

There is one, and only one, answer to this question:

If you depend on any given piece of software to work, probably not, do so at your own risk.
Just wait, there is nothing new under the sun.

what's the point of your post??

this has been discussed so much on this forum. anyone who installs the beta must accept that there will be issues... it's a beta. if one chooses to install, one chooses to take on those issues. otherwise, for most people, it's worth waiting for the final version.

but we know that. so basically, there IS more than one answer, and it depends on the individual, and the CHOICE they make.

Works great for systems with limited config. If you do anything fancy at all or need some special KEXTs or like Bartender, for example, you better wait...

Lets at least give the guy a little credit... At least he didn't use the term "daily driver" or "production machine."

LOL, I was thinking the same thing when I read this insightful post. I refrained from being sarcastic.
