Perhaps apple is more concerned about the iPad now, rather than the iPhone.

To me they are playing down expectations with the way that they are running the media event at a small on-site venue, in the middle of the week.

The only way they could have played it down more would have to include an iOS5 an 4s icon on the invite, but then, who would show up?

I am divided about this one.

WSJ really does seem to have a handle on Apple releases. They did for the iP4.

So far they haven't really said anything. It has been mostly leaks on iP4S by other news papers. Rarely has Apple been able to release a product without some jack arse losing it in a bar etc. But now, even 1 day before the release there is NOTHING concrete. Even for the iP4S etc.

I am most impressed.

Perhaps the few screen and parts leaks for the iP4S was the intentional smoke screen. Perhaps not.

I do suspect that were there no iP5, that Apple would have leaked something to take the simmer down a bit. Maybe they have in their way with the iP4S leaks but people are still not wanting to believe that that is all there is.

Either way, gotta love it!!
