Show calendar in clock dropdown menu

Basically the title. Is there a way to view a simple calendar with today highlighted when I click on the clock in the menu bar?

Not that I know of, I use fantistical. It's a bit price for a callender app, but I love it

Also the shareware iStat Menus also can set this up like that.
