I am wondering if anyone knows a way or an application that would automatically show the dashboard after wakeup? That would really help to actually see the to-do widget i have.

You could probably do this with a tool like Lingon (used for scheduling tasks via launchd), though I'm not sure exactly how you schedule something to run when the computer wakes from sleep as opposed to a specific time.

Dashboard Kickstart. here

Little prefpane that can "kick" (startup) your dashboard at login and also after sleep.

I tried it and it does open the dashboard after login and after sleep, but it exits right away. I read about it and I guess that's what its supposed to do.. so I am not sure if there is a way of making it leave the dashboard open.

it may take you less than a sec to open it manually... i don't understand why you need to open it via a script or app...
