Show files from ext. HDD in folder on int. HDD

Hey,

i just ordered an external HDD to store my movies and tv shows on it. when my internal HDD is full i want to move some of these files to the external. Is it possible that the files on the external HDD are still shown in the folder on the internal HDD? Because than it do not have to update my XBMC library.

You could make aliases...but that sounds like a mess.

What is with the SSD guys. Aren't they using something to move some files of their SSD?
