Show hidden files in leopard

    ya so i need to acess some hidden files so i can get the music off of my ipod and onto itunes. how do i show hidden files.

    alternativly does anybody know any other way of ripping ipod music for free
    thanks

    Try this

    # defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true
    # KillAll Finder

    To go into more Detail, Open Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal.app

    If by some odd chance that script jauhari gave doesn't work (works different for some OSes I've found, not much experience with the Leopard Terminal), the alternative is:

    # defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
    # KillAll Finder


    To reverse, simply put NO for YES. Command may be case-sensitive.

    Be careful with Hidden files. Some are hidden for a reason...
