I love the Touch Bar, it has improved my workflow immeasurably. I have setup different bars depending on the application I am using.

However, being new to the Touch Bar I'm sure there are some tips and tricks I/we could all learn from! Share yours here if you're using Better Touch Tool so we can compare.

How about you start by sharing how exactly it improved your workflow? What makes it so great for you? I don't own one mainly because I'd pick physical function keys 10/10 times instead of the Touch Bar (yes, if you're wondering, I'm a developer who likes not staring at his keyboard while typing and is very productive and comfotable using keyboard shortcuts... and I see no reason nor a need to change my ways. Considering how I've been using computers for decades, the Touch Bar would not bring me a single benefit, on the contrary, it would make things worse.).

PS: I feel Apple is doing a horrible job by intentionally making the non-Touch Bar model unappealing (hardware-wise) for almost the same price tag as the Touch Bar model. Had they offered a non-Touch Bar version with the same specs (yes, they could, there's no technical limitation to it) and even the same price, then I'd pull the trigger instantly! It's really saddening to see they chose to go down this path...

In fact I'll wager if they removed the touch bar they could make them with even more thinness!! :)

I understand very well what they are doing and why, that's exactly why I said they are doing it "intentionally". I merely expressed my dislike for their strategy.
Yes, but this has been discussed many times in many other threads, could we not do it here also? Just stick to the topic please or don't post at all. Thanks. :)

I spent several hours with BTT yesterday trying to add some buttons to my touch bar. I realize that BTT is "deep" and is probably a great tool for those that really enjoy fiddling around, but thats not me. Someone needs to write an easier touch bar editor. Actually its kind of weird that Apple doesn't provide one.
Rocket on the other hand is a very easy way to add the dock to the Touch Bar
