My black band finally arrived in the mail. Ordered them on April 24th.

Tried out a few things for a new post I'm working on, but I thought I'd add it to this thread, too. I've settled on Modular with calendar events in the center, but didn't want that on the example shot. It's a 38mm Sport (and trying it with a screen protector for now to prevent fine scratches on the oleophobic coating - at least until I am sure I won't swing my arm and bang it on something 😀).

Are you happy with the 42 on your 150mm wrist?

Yes, the 42mm was my first choice. Sometimes I feel like the black on black seems like an ankle monitor on my wrist, but otherwise, it looks fine. I'm really happy with it. I think I'll like it a bit more with a metal band, though.

Me too that's why I just ordered the hoco metal band on Amazon can't wait to get it

Better Pic of my 42mm Sport SG, changed the band to the s/m and fits much better. Before I purchased it, I thought 42mm was going to be big and look huge like other Smartwatches, but actually it doesn't seem big at all. So glad i went with the 42mm.

what makes you think 2nd gen will even come out in the next 2 years?

I think the watch will be quite successful based on my own 1 month experience but there will be a few HW changes that consumers will demand.

You could have saved yourself $140 by buying a cheap $10 clear skin for the palm rest on your MBP though. 😛

I was thinking the same thing, but after some testing with my old Seiko, the watch band rests pretty much on the edge of the keyboard deck - sometimes hitting the front edge of the MacBook, sometimes the top. I think I will buy one though, just for "special occasions" when I put the link bracelet band on....

I hadn't thought of going "clear" at all though - great suggestion! Thanks!

HATE that Apple didn't make this a $599 combo too

Honestly I don't think the SB looks as good with the Sport Band as it does with the Link. I can see it as a 2ndary band for gym, hiking, etc. but I understand why they decided not to. And it would have been $699 as the SB is $100 more than the SS Link.

That said I think the Space Black metal looks classier with the bracelet. With the sport band you almost can't tell it's not plastic. Hard to really see in pics.
