Hey, which color looks best on you?

Bandbriete kept suggesting the same colors today, so I asked Apple Intelligence to pick a random one.

Guess what? Siri gave me crimson red again! I absolutely love my new (and my first Nike) Apple Watch band! I only got it for $12 from the store two weeks ago.

This is one of the non-black Apple Watch Sport bands that has a space black or space grey pin. It’ll even look bold on black watches. And on gold stainless steel, it’s still a bold choice!

The colors that look best on me are the ones like the Northern Lights, Tangerine, Red Nike Sport Loop or the light opposites like Light Blush, Aquamarine or Blue Cloud. And I love the one you are wearing right now for your skin color it looks great, you have good taste from the few bands I have seen you in.

thx

The 10 was a stupendous deal.

I can still easily read the screen on the 6, but the dented-up won't-press side-button just made screenshots next-to-impossible (among other various functions).

The 6 still lives mostly-well, and I'll probably give it to one of my kiddos as a parting gift.

I'm not a Stone Mason, anymore, so I expect the 10 to persist in an intact state a lot longer ;)
I’m so glad you’ll keep your silver aluminum S10 for longer! I usually only upgrade Apple Watches when they show physical damage or stop supporting updates. I kept my space grey Apple Watch Series 1 for seven years - it was my first Apple Watch ever! I wore it for everything - from running in the track to dancing in the studio, and even during PE classes in high school before Covid and half the season of flag football in college. It was my go-to for keeping track of time, tracking my walks in the park, and monitoring my heart rate. I kept it for a really long time, even beyond the latest version of watchOS 6.3, until the battery life got so low that it only lasted about 3-4 hours a charge, and the screen started separating in half. That’s when I got a S6 from a spring sale last year for $245. It’s still holding up great!

I’m glad you use a case too! I had a bunch of cases for my Apple Watch Series 1 when I was working on CNC machines, but now I have one that’s hard plastic like yours to protect against scratches and all those chips from the machine. I use it every Tuesday when I go to the shop class every Tuesday afternoon. Here’s mine:

🔥 love that Hermes deployment buckle replica. Wished our 41/40 mm watches got that from Hermes ! You also have Nike midnight sky sport band- did that come with the series 9? I just got my first Nike band 2 weeks ago- I love it!

It is! I also have a Lake Green Sport Band it compliments the gold stainless steel well. To an ultra it makes it more bold. Is sage a good choice for your ultra too?

That Hermes replica is easily my highest quality strap, even though it’s only a replica. Honestly even the original isn’t much better than this.

My Midnight Sky Nike band didn’t come with the watch, it came with a Midnight sport band. I found that it was collecting too much sweat under my watch/strap during workouts so I bought the Nike band, and it definitely helped retain much less sweat…only downside being that it was kinda ugly in my opinion

My AW6 still holds a charge for over 1 and 1/2 days!

Great device, albeit an unnecessary one.

But, I couldn't help myself with the AW10: such a great deal for something that (as I now know) has transparently allowed me to continue to monitor all the daily-non-essentials for years to come ;)

I'm not a big fan of sage, but I have these with darker or more sober green tones, which are the ones I use the most. The green braided solo loop, the first one in the photo, is similar in tone to the Lake Green.

My series 9’s battery life isn’t amazing, in fact it’s the only thing I wish it did better. It’s probably because I also use it for sleep tracking and so I wear it to bed, but I HAVE to charge it every single day, no exceptions. My current battery health is at 92%, but this was true since day 1 when the battery was at 100%

Is your series 9 41mm launch day model? IK it’s a gps model as the Digital Crown lacks a red ring on it.

Nike sport bands have holes in them. Since 2022, Apple Watches after the Apple Watch Series 7 don’t have Nike+ edition ones anymore, so you have to buy Nike bands separately. But guess what? WatchOS 9 now gives Nike watch faces to all models!

Stainless steel, titanium, and Apple Watch Ultra watches can use Nike faces. All aluminum models, no matter if they were Nike or not, can also use Nike faces.

Hermes replicas are tricky to tell apart from a distance, but when you get close, they’re different. If you look closely they don’t have Hermes stamps on the underside of the straps, engravings on the buckles, or buttons with engravings. But here’s the thing: it saves you money because you can get double tours on larger watches and single tours and deployment buckles (which only the Kilim has both sizes in the real deal) on smaller watches.

Oh, and have you thought about getting a different color Nike strap? Gym red bright crimson looks awesome on dark watches because of the black pin it has. And the magic ember color will also look great on dark watches. I’m also eyeing in some Nike sport loops and two-tone  sport loops in my band and case hunts in the shops.

So you disable always on display?
How long do you work out with the Apple Watch? Do you sleep track with it daily)

Nice. Is that Inverness green and rainforest solo loops?

I have the launch model of the series 9, so I have the blood oxygen sensor in mine.

I am considering getting more colours of the nike band, just trying to find the older ones for prices I can afford

I still have SpO2 sensor in my S6 40mm gold too, and I am on same stance on :apple: OEM and Nike band hunting. My last time I got a great find was the Nike Gym Red/Bright Crimson one at Marshall's, if there's one in your area check it. Ross does $12 straps Apple official once in a while for leather ones too.

I second this the Green Sport Loop looks amazing with the Ultra.
Still looks bold with that black titanium. Looks nice 👍. I tried it on at Apple Store and it looks nice too.

Nothing organized; I just let it tell me that I could do better ;)
That’s why you prolonged the battery a lot. no AOD nor raise to wake. I use a Siri shortcut to do that as I try to save battery during long workouts.

That’s strange.

Check your settings.

I think he needs to also track at least more than three bands in the Bandbreite collection.

@Lyusi can you check that you put your entire bands collection in the app’s system? Also that setting must be on. Mines shows up:
