Can't wrap my head around how amazing the Titanium Milanese is. Decided to go for the black one and liked it so much that I ordered the NT, as well. Ridiculously good band.View attachment 2629376

Just bought one of the black ones as well - Amazing strap! Super stylish and comfortable at the same time.

Haven't tried it for runs or swimming etc. as I have tons of better options there, but for the more stylish situations it's great!

Yeah, it is a special band. I don't plan to use it for swimming, I have the Ocean band for that, but for everything else this is perfect. It has the comfort of the Trail Loop, but it's more breathable. It's the only band that I don't feel on my wrist at all.

I've been wondering for a long time if a black Milanese on NT Ultra would be ok.

I think it's one of those combos that you either love or really really dislike, no inbetween.
I found some Reddit photos that I thought looked really nice so decided to go for this. It was underwhelming on the first day (both the band and the combo), but then it grew on me and now it's possibly my favorite combo that I used so far. I plan to alternate between this and the NT. I originally didn't opt for the NT band because it seemed a bit bland to have the same color all around, but the strap is such high quality that I had to get the other one, as well.

So bear with me here, because it’s not a knock on Apple at all…rather, this is a solid compliment to the Apple Watch which has inspired me to learn about and appreciate other watches too. I have owned an AW3, AW6, AW7, AWU2, and currently an AWU3. I absolutely love my Apple Watch. Deeply so. Incredibly functional and highly useful. I will always own one!

But, after a lot of research, I’ve decided to add a complimentary piece to wear while I am dressed up for work and the rare, but occasional time I dress up outside of work. I will still wear my AWU3 every single day when the work day is done (and while sleeping) but the Ultra now has a Longines Spirit Zulu in 42mm as its partner.

Before the Apple Watch, I never would have considered buying anything other than a $40 watch…but now the Apple Watch has opened up new ideas for me. Thank you Apple!

So where’s the Apple Watch Ultra 3 then? Can’t wait to see how your Apple Watch looks like. Would you simultaneously wear both watches?

There’s also a thread bout mechanical watches that’s still super popular; this is a nice one! https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...e.150004/page-223?post=34562871#post-34562871

What do you miss while running? The black and lime is a killer combo
Good question - during the run: nothing at all (apart from the performance condition that Garmin gives after 5-ish minutes).
Metrics from Garmin (Fenix 8 pro) that I do miss:
- running and strength workout suggestions based on fitness level/recovery and planned race(s) (there are apps for that, but subscription)
- race predictor 5K, 10K etc. (but covered by Strava, also subscription which I have anyway)
- running lactate threshold estimation (no app for that)

acute impact load, endurance score and running economy are also nice but I can live without

To stay on topic: AWU2 black with blue alpine strap
