I am doing the same combo after seeing the leather loop in the local Apple store last weekend. The black loop gives the silver sport a great ultra modern look and is the best of the various Apple strap combinations I have seen so far.
Picked up my space grey 42mm Sport yesterday. Reserved online and picked up at an Apple Store not to far away..Amazed at how light it is, hardly notice I'm wearing it!, maybe weight is only a problem with the more expensive metal ones. Too early for any why did I bother/can't live without it decisions yet. Let's see how it goes....

Thanks for those photos! Sport + Leather Loop is definitely my fave combo. I'm getting the SG Sport with standard black band today, will upgrade to leather loop...when I decide I'm worth it
Oh sorry sorry. Ebay, seller hong_yao66, cost me $67NZD including shipping while the Apple version costs $250NZD, and isn't available for 38mm anyway. It's pretty nice I think, not perfect, but I think the cheaper price makes up for it.

Looks good to me but I must say, I am a very big fan of the classic leather band as my favorite. The SS Link is very classy and professional looking, but the classic leather is my daily band because it is so easy to adjust and get the perfect fit and feels great.
