What band you gone for?

I found a gently used SS on swappa and it included the white and black sports bands and an aftermarket leather band. Amazing price and its pristine minus some small surface scratches that can buff out.

Enjoying the feel of the sports band but will use the leather most of the time. Looking for a nice looking brown aftermarket leather.

Mountain biking yesterday using my 42mm SGS and Moko black band (no more "sport" activities with my $50 Apple band that has already peeled) and noticed the distance is slightly off, but in a nice under rated way. 3.30 miles out of 13.7 miles and 234 calories out of 4536(total) calories for that day!

First, those road sign are never correct with the displayed distance. At least in Europe. Trust your GPS more than those signs.
Second, Image or it didn't happen. I can't go for a 150km bike ride with my 38mm watch because of the battery depletes before I hit my goal.
Third, nice trail :)

Game day!!!!

I can't wait for the opportunity to use pics for watch faces as this is as close to orange/green I can get for game day attire right now.

First, I agree about the trail signs, I knew not to take them exactly to the exact distance, that's why I mentioned "slightly off". And knowing this, I do trust the watch somewhat more. But, I have no proof which is 100% correct.
Second, I'm not sure which image you'd like for proof, but I'm not here to "prove" anything except I did a nice, but painful, ride with my Apple Watch. I didn't take any other pics of my ride, but I'm going out to the same trail this next week. If you'd like to request any, I'm happy to oblige
Third, thanks, it was fun! I'm just starting back into cycling with a 2 years or so hiatus, so be easy on me
The trail took about 3 hours to do, and after being on for about 10 hours not including this ride, my watch had only about 15% left, which is still acceptable to me. But, a 150km ride? Yeah, I can see it not making it. Perhaps a portable battery and quick charge during a rest stop?
Here is my activity page for that day-

^^this represents my longest ride (this ride), so I was mistaken on the distance. It says 15.75 miles

People can do whatever they like, but guys why the case on a watch? I just dont get it.. It looks hideous..
I put a case for n mine cause future accidental bumps and dings, I work in retail and I can't risk damaging it honestly. I also put a screen protector in case I walk by something and scratch it against a wall, furniture, etc... I take really good care of my stuff but hey, who knows **** Happens:eek:

I'm guessing you got sports? But if you are so worried why not pay extra for SS, any scratches can be buffed out with ease and no screen shield needed

Here is my effort.
Have this Pebble (not affiliated with the watch of the same name) strap, sports Band, plain black leather and the blue leather loop I use most often.
Liking this one right now.
And the obligatory shot in the car.... Haha

Apparently you missed the memo man. Someone a few pages back (I believe or in the great third party band thread but if not pls correct me) has a SS with a huge scratch across his sapphire crystal display and others on the "hows your watch holding up" thread have reported bad dings on the SS body. But hey, not many of us have money to indulge and switch SS watches every time a screen scratches as bad or the bezel dings up as well so we must do whatever we think works for US. You don't have to like what others do but you CAN respect their opinions.
