My new Midnight Blue Classic Buckle. Sadly seems more black than blue in pictures but in person it definitely looks a dark navy/midnight blue. I love the quality and feel of the leather. :D

Love the new classic buckles. Looks good. What stand is that? I've seen it before and it has a lid for travel - right?

I really like the CB so glad I decided to purchase it! I was put off by the price but decided it was worth it. The stand is the Sena leather case :) in the picture the bottom part of the case is resting on the lid to turn it into a watch stand and has nice cable management. Love this stand/ case. :D

Glad to hear you got your midnight blue band finally, enjoy! Btw, I'm digging your septum piercing! Maybe a midnight blue titanium ring to match?

Thank, currently enjoying it today. Feels so nice to wear! :) and thanks again :p and I'd love too but I have so many piercings it took a lot of saving and time to get all the jewellery matching as it is, I don't know if I can be bothered to do it all again. ^^ At the moment my piercings have a mix of mint green/blue and white CZ. I do wish I had gone for a darker blue in my body jewellery as I love navy/midnight tones.

Space Gray Sport with 3rd party SS Black Link band (the gap you see on the right top link is exagerated in this photo by the angle and the lighting outside) and then a Gold Sport with 3rd party Midnight Blue Sport band. The MBS band feels a touch softer than my Apple Black Sport band but certainly does the job.

I hear ya. When I first started collecting sport bands, I tried to match my plugs to my bands, but now that the thrill is gone, I've haven't been using them much. It's hard to coordinate them as much as I switch my bands out!

It really does become hard work and ruins the fun. So I just don't bother matching my body jewellery either. I think most of my bands go ok so hopefully doesn't mismatch too much. :) You may have already heard of them but I really recommend Anatometal jewellery. :D haha love the black plugs! :p

My new 42mm Black Woven Nylon band
I was worried the black won't look nice on the stainless steel, but I think its very nice

WOW - that looks great.

I have the 42mm Space Grey Apple Watch myself but worried that with these nylon bands, the watch will just feel too light (i like feeling a bit of heft to my watch).

They don't really weigh that much less than Sport Bands.

(Edited to appease an OCD member)

I finally ordered the Midnight Blue Classic band and it came today. Doesn't really match my midnight blue leather case other than the inside.

The new classic bands are very well made. It's better than the first gen and def better than the second gen. I have a black first gen and saddlebrown second gen and neither is as good as my new storm gray and midnight blue 3rd gen. They took a step up in quality.

Yeah I was trying to get a picture of the band/ leather case but my camera isn't good anymore. They don't match perfectly but I'm hoping over time the band may darken and it will match better then :D

Yeah I'm so happy with the quality :D I didn't have the first or second gen bands but it's nice to know this gen is an improvement :)

@Dino F this is in fact completely incorrect.

See this table: http://i0.wp.com/robservatory.com/postimages/_onetime/apple_watches_big4.png

And this article: http://www.cio.com/article/3048773/...ed-to-the-38mm-apple-watch-from-the-42mm.html

The sport band weighs more than the watch itself. The nylon band will weigh about half as much as the watch...
My black sport 42mm with nylon mesh band = 43 Gram
A nylon band alone = 13 grams
A sport band alone -= 29 grams

So I stand slightly corrected that the nylon band is lighter but the sport band weighs less than the watch. Your chart did not show the nylon band weight by the way.

Anyway if you are so sensitive that you can feel a 16 gram differnce in weight strapped to your wrist then you win the OCD sweepstake this week.

How can you insist a sport band is lighter than the watch when these figures compiled from apples official specs show different...

I have both a sport and SS. Are you telling me I shouldn't be able to feel the difference? The difference in case weight is 15G.

What's with all the talk about lightness?? Get in the weight room, fellas o_O

The original question was about heft not lightness; I was pointing out he may feel a significant difference. He should probably try at the Apple Store. When I tried one on my SS it was noticeable lighter than even the ML so on a sport it would have no heft at all.
