Finally got my black steel band sized to my wrist. I love the look of the black steel band and the black stainless Apple Watch. Even got compliments at the watch kiosk that removed the links for me.

I bought my wife a pearl nylon off of Amazon, it came in yesterday. Absolute junk, the clasp for the buckle broke off when she put it on for the first time and it was extremely stiff. I sent it back today and went to the Apple Store and picked one up for her today. Much better quality, well worth the extra $25.

Yep third party bands are junk. Had one bad experience and never again.

I just love the comfyness of the black Nylon band, on my 42mm Space Grey watch:

...so much more comfortable than the Apple Midnight Blue Leather Loop, I recently had bought for me (which always needs adjusting depending on how much my wrist expands in the humid weather, we are having here in the UK!).

Hoping to have one of my own to show on Friday. Been pestering the wife to get one. She finally gave me the OK to buy the 2nd gen when it comes out. Not knowing when that will be I want to buy a 1st gen now and then sell it to by the 2nd gen when it comes out.

Saw someone at work selling their 42mm Sport w/ 2 straps in "excellent" condition for $250. Got the OK to offer him $200. I won't be back in the office until Friday but he told me if he doesn't receive a better offer by then he'll sell it to me. Seems like a pretty sweet deal.

If you had to exchange an iPhone at the genius bar due to a fault, would you dismiss it as junk and never again?

No. But I spent $90 on this third party link band and it broke after a month. I'm sorry but I'm not going to keep wasting money on third party bands until I find a good one.

So a 90 dollar band means it's a one time deal and never again, but a 700 dollar phone can be junk and replaced and that's OK, your logic is flawed. Every outlet has the ability to sell good and bad stuff, price is irrelevant, you just got a bad one this time. Doesn't mean every 3rd party seller is duff..

Going for a yellow text colour to go with my clothes. But, you can't really tell here...

Am I the only one who thinks a square face just doesn't work. They try and make it a small phone screen by cramming all sorts of stuff on it so it looks messy and cluttered. just have a clock face,, then a swipe left or right to see other app faces.. fitness, music etc.

Maybe not the only one but the square face doesn't bug me at all. I get a lot of in info with just a quick glance.
