Hello everyone

I don’t want to derail this thread but I just wanted to ask a quick question, I have a Series 3 SS and wanted to know if anyone thinks it’s worth upgrading to the s4 SS? I don’t live in the US so the electro cardio graph isn’t available

I’ve gone from the 3 to the 4 and I was unsure if the upgrade was worth it.......

It definitely was, it’s faster than my series 3 and the screen is amazing, especially with the new Infograph watch face.

Opening mail is a joy as you can actually read them on the bigger screen, granted you still need good eyesight

I think it's better if you wait for the next generation instead. Screen problems in Series 4 might be resolved in the next iteration and ECG might be possible in your country by that time.

Picked up my first Apple Watch this evening, went with a Series 4 44mm Space Gray aluminium with black sports loop, it’s a nice bit of tech, really happy with it.

Any tips feel free to fire away, thanks.

Was waiting for Simplycarbonfiber to release their Carbon Fiber Series 4 case but it was delayed. I went on EBAY and picked up this case for only 5 bucks from china. Must say the fit is perfect and looks pretty sleek. Also the Apple sport band is amazing. Love the feel and very comfortable, hopefully they drop more colors.

How does the sport loop do with water. Does it end up smelling?

It’s my main band for working out and I’m usually sweaty. I just use wet tissue to wipe sweat off the band after and it never have smell problem at all. No sweat smell. No damp cloth foul smell. And I’m using it all day long.

What’s the magic material it’s made up of?..

My watch will be delivered either today or Monday. Can’t wait. I got the sport loop Nike space grey version. Will the sport loop’s little hump/bulge flatten out with use? That is the only thing I’m concerned about with the band.

I just got my first Apple Watch a couple days ago. Was always interesting in the device but could never pull the trigger. What finally pursaude me was an incentive through work (via Vitality) where I got it for $88! And I love it - went with the Nike+ 40mm Series 4 space gray aluminium with black sports loop.

FYI - I'm a lefty so I wear watches on my right hand.

I wear my watch on my right hand. You like the dial on the left better than the right? I guess it’d be easier to be on the left for scrolling and such.

I think I'll be keeping the crown on the left for exactly that. I initially thought to keep the crown at the top, and therefore to the right, but didn't want to obscure the screen every time I had to scroll/press the side button.

I must say I’m loving this watch, a very nice cool bit of tech from Apple, I’m gonna start collecting some straps and other accessories ASAP.

Yes it’s a lot better on the bottom left if you wear on the right hand. While scrolling your finger isn’t covering the screen.

Yep you’ll soon find that collecting watch bands becomes pretty addicting. I just bought 4 within the last month. I have a problem haha.
I won’t go too wild buying them (about 10 straps), maybe a couple for each occasion, a desk stand etc also.

Adam.

New to this thing. Gotta say, changing between sport, casual, and formal bands, and the faces to match them, is really cool. Almost like having multiple watches.

Yup that’s why I love the Apple Watch! You can change band and face for different occasions.
